Domaine Marie Courtin, Champagne

La Cabane, Hong Kong

Champagne Marie Courtin is located in the village of Polisot, Côtes des Bars, in the southern part of the Champagne appellation. This area is particularly prized for its Pinot Noir grapes to which the limestone soils add a unique freshness. Dominique Moreau created the estate in 2005 with a vision opposed to the regular Champagne houses, tending to produce single-vineyard, single varietal and single vintage Champagnes from biodynamically-grown grapes. Dominique's champagnes are always either 100% pure Pinot Noir or 100% pure Chardonnay.

"Marie Courtin comes from the name of my grandmother, a woman of the earth. Her philosophy is settled in every detail of the winemaking, with a focus on respecting the land and the fruits" - Dominique Moreau
